• BGCS & ARA shall provide the following: 1. A website with a landing page listing for all participating restaurants including a restaurant logo and/ or picture, business contact information, business website link, cuisine type and a separate page to promote each restaurant’s special menu for this event. 2. An advertising campaign that will possibly appear in, but not be limited to: television, newspapers, radio, print publications, websites, social media campaigns such as Facebook, twitter and blogs, community calendars, participating member partners, links on partner websites, in-restaurant promotion, e-mail blasts, other promotions. 3. Serve as a partner to the restaurant and help with restaurant promotional activities through the use of a media toolkit provided to each participating restaurant. 4. Two (2) six (6) foot tables for the event. 5. A hand sanitation station. 6. Standard black linens for each table. 7. County health department approved space for duration of event. 8. Restaurant listing with menu items on www.bgcs.org/events. 9. Six (6) General Admission tickets which provide access to the main event only. 10.Inclusion in select print signage at the event including signage at your table. 11. Restaurant listing in map or program distributed to all attendees. SECTION B: DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF RESTAURANT PARTICIPANT: Each participating restaurant shall provide the following: 1. All plates, napkins and utensils necessary to serve the menu item. 2. The menu description to BGCS / ARA for inclusion on the website no later than the date posted for that event. 3. All necessary planning, operational and managerial responsibilities and coordination for the restaurant participant portion of the event. 4. Agrees to utilize Live & Local promotional materials, link on restaurant’s website, participate in social media campaigns, and include event in advertising and promotional material at least 14 days prior to the event. 5. Agrees to complete and submit a post survey to 502 Events, LLC with quantifying documentation of reservations/diners and/or sales increases during the event, which will be due to 502 Events, LLC within four weeks after the event. 6. Copies of restaurant’s catering permit or inform ARA staff that a temporary catering permit is needed by deadline. 7. A certificate of insurance naming BGCS and ARA as additional insured. 8. Four (4) to six (6) serving staff, all age 21 and up with a valid ID to show security the night of the event. SECTION C: MUTUAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF BOTH BGCS / ARA AND RESTAURANT PARTICIPANT: 1. If the performance by either party of a non-monetary obligation under this Agreement is delayed or prevented in whole or in part by any cause not reasonably within its control (including, without limitation, inclement weather, acts of God, war, civil disturbances, accidents, damages to its facilities, labor disputes, acts of any governmental body, or delay of third parties) it shall be excused, discharged and released of performance to the extent such performance is so limited or prevented without liability of any kind. 2. Termination of the Agreement may be initiated only when agreed upon by both parties, unless one party defaults under the terms and conditions of this agreement. In case of default, the non-defaulting party must provide written notice to the other party of the default and shall provide fourteen (14) days to cure the default. Any notice shall be delivered by certified mail to the addresses listed in agreement. 3. BGCS / ARA and Restaurant Participant recognize each other as self-governing entities, and not agents of the other, and therefore shall conduct all business independently from one another. 4. The aforementioned Agreement represents the entire understanding between the parties relative to Live & Local, and is intended to be fully binding upon the parties. 5. BGCS /ARA Staff, related event providers and participating sponsors will NOT be responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur to the vendor, its employees or property prior to, during or subsequent to the period covered by the vending contract. The vendor signing this contract expressly releases all of the aforementioned from any and all claims from such loss, damage or injury and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless BGCS / ARA and its partners for all costs associated with the event. 6. This event may be photographed and/or videotaped. By participating in this event, you hereby consent to the use of your likeness or image in those photographs or video for future promotional consideration by BGCS / ARA.
