Food and alcohol safety are paramount to creating a positive experience for any of our restaurant members’ guests. We firmly believe that all those who handle food and alcohol do so in a way that complies with state and federal laws, and are mindful of their patron’s safety, including food allergies and on-site security.

The ARA is your comprehensive training resource.

We offer the required courses to be certified for food handler, food manager and alcohol manager licenses.

ServSafe Food Handler

The ServSafe Food Handler Program includes an interactive course and 40-question test that covers critical food safety information and techniques. The training and test takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes to complete. The program is offered in both English and Spanish.

ServSafe Food Manager

Passing the ServSafe Food Manager’s Exam satisfies the Certified Food Manager requirement of Maricopa, Pima, Cochise, Yavapai, Mohave and Yuma Health Departments. Every food service establishment is required to have at least one employee who holds the ServSafe Food Manager Certification.

ServSafe Allergen

The number of Americans affected by food allergies is trending higher every year. Dining out is a serious concern for them as well as their family and friends. Those who deal with this life-threatening condition are often unsure which restaurants can safely accommodate them — if at all. That’s why making your restaurant staff allergy aware can help increase your revenue opportunities. To capitalize on this opportunity, you and your employees need to have the basic information required to ensure everyone takes the steps necessary to keep your customers safe.
